Sooo I was having problems with I-chat (if you read my previous post about ichat vs. adium, you’ll see that I installed chax and started to use I-Chat again) and it kept giving me those gay and annoying time out messages. I deleted the program thinking that I could just pop in the OSX install disc and have it install from there… but lo and behold, it was nowhere to be seen. I searched online for a while and found this <http://www.charlessoft.com/> which has a program called Pacifist. If you install that, it allows you to extract only specific bundles from your OSX install discs for each application, which saves you the hassle of having to reinstall your whole entire platform again. It comes in handy and it’s really quick. The great thing is that when I reinstalled I-Chat, it had it the exact same was as how I left it with the chax patch installed and EVERYTHING!! =). Oh, I also just found something else out (at this very moment actually) that if you bought the retail package of leopard separately (which is what the boyfriend did) you will probably notice that you are lacking imovie and the new updated iphoto. The iphoto that comes with that is absolutely ghastly btw. My macbook came installed with leopard, which included imovie and iphoto (I AM indeed getting to my point here. Continue reading pleaaaase) that his did not. We took his external harddrive and clicked “extract to different location” .. and voila. He installed it onto his mac and it worked Sorry if that’s kind of hard to follow, but it’s easy I promise. If you’re installing to your own computer just click “install to default location”. 

By the way. 28 Weeks later. Awesome movie. I love it because 1) it’s MUCH better than 28 days later and 2) the 28 movies do not use zombies. The people are still alive, yet aggressive and spewing blood everywhere, unlike zombies… who are dead/decaying and walking when they should be buried under 6 feet of dirt. They are also slow (I have a dislike for slow walking people… do you see a connection) and weird. I am not very fond of zombies, thanks to Michael Jackson’s thriller movie. That’s right… my dislike of zombies has come from the fact that they’re just cheesy, aaaaand I was scarred for life from Thriller. My mom is a MJ nut, therefore I had the pleasure of being exposed to lots and lots of MJ propaganda.
